Hi everyone

I have a CELTA qualification and have taught summer school in the UK and Italy but have realised that there are far more opportunities open to me if I have a BA as well. I'm thinking of doing a part-time or online BA Education but would you say that this is the most useful one to have?

Would appreciate your feedback Confused

To teach English you can have almost any degree although an English related one is preferable.

That being the case, a BA in Education is going to restrict you should you decide later in the life to move out of the profession. A more "general" degree like English or a foreign language (if that's for you) is better in my opinion.

But having said all that, I would always suggest that you take a degree in a subject which interests you rather than one you feel is good for your career!

I think teaching is a profession where you should be possessed with best knowledge, so I think getting extra degrees is a positive approach, because future generations depends on the teacher

You can't major in medicine. But if you want to go into medicine, you should major in something you find interesting and that you like. Healthcare is a good field.
Major in something you like. You can always get a grad degree later...
