Is anyone familiar with this program? Have any thoughts on its value or lack thereof?

Thanks

APU says its 24 months if you take their summer programs (which are probably higher priced than the (what?) $324 per unit price quoted). It's closer to 3 years, especially if they won't accept prior coursework.

APU is a Christian college out to make a quick buck in the con game known as ESL:

"Those who hold master's degrees in TESOL are among the most sought-after professionals in the world today. TESOL instruction represents an extraordinary opportunity for a meaningful career in education, both at home and abroad."

Check the TESOL.org and HigherEdjobs.com websites and look for full-time, tenured jobs: you won't find any. It's either teach in the "adjunct pool" or do one-year non-tenure track (AKA "one and done"). 24 months is better spent working in a field where there are full-time jobs with a future. Those are getting harder to find.
