I use this with younger kids myself and they respond well to the pictures. For the youngest kids, I find the Longman Children's Picture Dictionary better, every page has a hidden item and it really draws the kids in. |

I reviewed this current edition pre-release last year. It's actually REALLY good!
It's also a complete set with an instructor's version and student ones along with multi-media and activities. It's by far the single best designed picture dictionary I've ever seen and I fully recommend it. _________________ The first step to teaching is realizing that you don't know nearly enough yourself.
