Hi all. Has anybody worked at this school? They have three centers in the Moscos regions - Dzerzhinsky, Zheleznodorozhny and Malakhovka. I got offered a job with them but I cam't seem to find any reviews even though the website says they've been operating for 10 years. Also, they have scans of their teachers' diplomas ans certificates on the website and some of them, despite being issued from different universities seem to have the same font and layout, which is worrying.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated it! |

Never heard of the school but the website looks okay and I can’t see any red flags (pardon the pun)
If there are no reviews, then no one is complaining,
I wouldn’t worry about fake diplomas, as long as yours is genuine.
Was the offer of employment genuine and are you happy with the contract? Where did they advertise and have their details been checked? In spite of verification, the scams still manage to get through. Therefore, that would be my biggest worry. Are the contact details the same as the website details. Scammers borrow genuine websites for their advertisements but change the email addresses and telephone numbers, so you need to check these. Above all, if they ask you for money, then you know it is a scam. |

Hello unionjack. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! The offer seems genuine. The recruiter's information over Skype matches the website and he pronounced the areas correctly - or as correctly as a non-Russian speaker can get. He's recruiting from Prague not in the Moscow region too so I was a bit wary of that and I've been trying to get a street view of the centers on Google Maps but can't seem to find it. But that can just mean that maybe it hasn't been updated. I'm going to get a few second opinions on the contract and then make a decision but thank you for your advice and if anyone else here has worked for this school, let me know what your experience was like please! |

Hi applestoapples
To be sure that your recruiters in Prague are genuine, contact I.E.C. via their website contact telephone numbers and/ or email address at
http://iec-english.ru/kontakt
Ask if they are recruiting from Prague and then you can take it from there...
Best of luck
